Cara Goldstein Educator
15 years of experience as a California Public School educator for grades k-12. Fulbright-Hays Scholar 2014, Yale National Teacher Fellow 2010, and founder of Comics and Portfolio Programs throughout the SF Bay Area including Piedmont Park and Rec and Pixar John Lee’s Liv and Chiu Art Studio. Cara has her MFA in Creative Writing with a minor in Animation from SF State and her BFA in Painting from Syracuse University. She also teaches Summer Camps, Individual art portfolio development and comics lessons. She has also been a judge for the MFA senior comics awards at CCA and a lecturer at The Getty Museum, SF City College, and APE run by ComicCon. She belongs to several local comics collectives and has her own workbook on how to make a comic book.
